Mark Gannott is the Chief Financial Officer of Suncoast Ventures and the health economist behind the fund’s women’s health and medical cannabis strategy. He is also the CEO of Rogue Insights and Solutions and an Adjunct Fellow at the National Institute of Complementary Medicine (NICM) Health Research Institute, Western Sydney University.

Since 2020, Mark has led health-economic work at the intersection of women’s health and medical cannabis, focusing on conditions where cannabis is widely used in practice but remains poorly integrated into formal clinical, economic, and monitoring frameworks, including endometriosis, chronic pelvic pain, and menstrual disorders.

He has led multiple initiatives in cannabinoid medicine, spanning genomic and personalised-medicine research at Endocanna Health, authorship of health-economic analysis submitted through the Minority Cannabis Business Association public comment process that informed White House–level cannabis policy review, and design of economic models for Los Angeles County to guide cannabis reinvestment planning and public-sector allocation.

He is the lead author of From Data to Decision-Making, which translates dose-sequenced, participant-reported cannabis data from the OnTracka platform into decision-grade clinical and economic evidence for women’s health care.
