Justine Kander, MS 

Justin Kander has researched the use of cannabis to treat cancer for over 17 years. He has written several books about cannabis and spoken at conferences around the world, including previous UIC Symposiums. From 2015-2020, he worked for Aunt Zelda's in California, where he directly helped cancer patients acquire cannabis extracts and infused oils. In 2023, he received his Master's degree in Medical Cannabis Science and Therapeutics from University of Maryland, Baltimore. That year, he also began working for Cancer Playbook, where he collected well over a thousand publicly-shared cases of cancer patients using cannabis as part of the company's efforts to provide data-backed resources.
