Fiona Patten

Fiona Patten was a member of the Victorian parliament from 2014 to 2022. While in parliament she initiated and delivered reforms on many issues including voluntary assisted dying and abortion law reform. Fiona also introduced numerous Bills and amendments to improve access to medicinal cannabis and enable patients to drive.

Since leaving parliament she has remained passionate about medicinal cannabis and is the current deputy chair of AMCA. Fiona has continued to work on social reform and sits on a number of boards. She also provides government engagement advice to a wide range of organisations.

Prior to her election she headed up the national adult industry association (Eros) for 20 years.

In 2018 she published her autobiography -‘Sex, Drugs and the Electoral Roll’  and she owns a registered wildlife sanctuary.
