Will holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from the University of Sydney and spent years as a research and evaluation consultant to government, specialising in alcohol and other drugs policy. That background informs Unharm's evidence-based, coalition-driven approach to reform.

Through Unharm, Will has played a central role in the campaign to reform medicinal cannabis driving laws in New South Wales, helping build a broad alliance across medicine, law and community sectors and bringing the issue to the centre of political and public debate. The campaign has united patient advocates, medical professionals, legal experts and industry bodies behind a simple message: medicinal cannabis should be treated like any other medicine.
