Deb Ranson is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Consultant specialising in Heart and Lung services with Queensland Health. She also works with The New Clinic (TNC) and serves as a Clinical Facilitator for nursing and paramedicine students at Australian Catholic University, supporting the development of future healthcare professionals.

Deb is also a recognised advocate for evidence-based cannabinoid medicine, contributing to education, policy reform discussions, and clinician training to improve patient access and reduce stigma within healthcare settings. Her work focuses on safe prescribing, harm reduction, and empowering nurses to engage confidently in emerging therapeutic spaces. She was honoured as Cannabiz Nurse of the Year in 2024 and 2025.
