Dr Yew Choy Cheong is a General Practitioner working in East Canberra General Practice near the Canberra Airport. He graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2005 and has worked in a few places across Australia, namely Adelaide, Newcastle, Tamworth, Post Macquarie, Central Coast, Orange and Canberra.

Apart from helping patients with their general medical health, his main area of interest is skin cancer management, which takes up a bulk of his practice. He does full body skin checks and manages any suspicious lesions accordingly. Given his surgical experience, he is able to manage most skin cancer conditions, reducing the need for referrals and wait times in the public system.

He enjoys the mixture of skin cancer management and general medical practice, as he finds the combination very rewarding and less mundane. Work aside, Yew Choy enjoys playing badminton and the guitar.
