Getting Here and parking

The event is located inside Old Parliament House:  18 King George Terrace, Parkes, ACT, 2600.

To enter the building, enter from the back of Old Parliament House along Queen Victoria Terrace - the side that faces New Parliament House and walk over the bridge.  There will be signage directing you on where to enter the buidling. 

Explore GP will be held in Members Dining Room 2.

Parking

There are paid, short-stay spaced at the front and on either side of Old Parliament House.

Paid, long-stay spaces are behind Old Parliament House on Queen Victoria Terrace and next to the Treasury and John Gorton Buildings, all a short walk to the venue.

Parking on the weekends is free.  There is also free accessible parking and accessible pick up and drop off located at the front of Old Parliament House.

All parking is uncovered.

Walking and Cycling

The venue is within walking distance of the National Gallery of Australia, Questacon, the National Library of Australia and Parliament House.  Bike racks are available at the entrance to Old Parliament House.
