Dr. Ariana Arulampalam is a Rural Generalist GP Obstetrician based in Cowra, with a passion for providing comprehensive healthcare to rural communities. She works in General Practice, Nursing Homes, and the  Emergency Department in Cowra and in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Orange, embracing the diversity and challenges of rural medicine.

As a lead medical educator with the NSW/ACT team for the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM), Dr. Ariana Arulampalam is dedicated to mentoring and supporting the next generation of rural doctors. She has additional training in perinatal mental health and breastfeeding, ensuring that women and families receive well-rounded and compassionate care during pregnancy and early parenthood.

Dr. Ariana Arulampalam loves rural medicine because no two days are the same. The variety of cases allows her to explore her specialist interests while still delivering essential healthcare to communities that need it most. She is committed to making high-quality medical care accessible to rural and remote populations and finds great fulfillment in the connections she builds with her patients and community.
