Kathleen is a lawyer, non-executive director and board chair. She has extensive experience working with various Catholic congregations and organisations in relation to mission and governance.
Kathleen is Chair of the board of Xavier College, Melbourne (part of Jesuit Education Australasia) and a director of Presentation Association Limited (the civil governing entity of the Presentation Sisters of Victoria).
She has previously been director and Board Chair of Star of the Sea College, Melbourne (a Kildare Ministries school in the Presentation tradition) and Mercy Works Limited (an international and domestic aid and development organisation of the four congregations of the Sisters of Mercy in Australia and Papua New Guinea). She was the inaugural Board Chair of Wellness in Infrastructure Limited (addressing issues of poor mental health in the Australian construction/infrastructure industry) and remains a Member of that company.
Kathleen’s book, Deep Governance Matters - the world of community, service and mission, was published in 2023 by Garratt Publishing.
Kathleen is an experienced mediator and a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She has worked in private legal practice and lectured in dispute resolution at the University of Melbourne Law School.
