Sandy Bolton MP

Independent Member for Noosa

For 35 years, Sandy has lived, worked, and raised her three children in Noosa. With a background in management and consultancy across multiple sectors, she has also served in many voluntary roles, including as a founding member of Innovate Noosa, Director of Bendigo Community Banks, and a member of the Sunshine Coast Primary Health Network. Holding a qualification in Social Innovation from CQUniversity, Sandy was an inaugural Councillor of the de-amalgamated Noosa Council in 2013. Elected as the Independent Member for Noosa in 2017 to the Queensland Parliament, she is now in her 3rd term and remains the only elected Independent in state politics. Her role is multifunctional and faceted, having responsibility to her constituents and community, as well as to broader Queensland.
