She founded Cross-Cultural Insights (CCI), a trailblazing research practice that is unique to Australia and the industry. Acting as a vital 'bridge,' she provides powerful and independent insights that amplify the voices of Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) communities in Australia and across borders. Through deep multicultural, social, and commercial insights, she has helped government organisations, businesses, and brands connect meaningfully with CALD communities both locally and globally.

A seasoned social and commercial research specialist and business strategist, Isabel brings a wealth of expertise in bridging CALD communities with Australia’s public, government, and commercial sectors. She has empowered numerous organisations to navigate complex multicultural environments effectively by providing invaluable insights into cultural nuances and enabling strategic planning and policymaking. With over 20 years of research experience across the Asia-Pacific region, Isabel Zhang's professional expertise spans into wide range of industries and sectors.

Currently, Isabel serves as the Vice President of the Australia China Business Council (ACBC) Victoria, Board Director and Goodwill Ambassador to the Museum of Chinese Australian History. In this capacity, she is driving and advocating for greater diversity and inclusion in mental health. Additionally, Isabel sits on the advisory committee for the St. Vincent’s Private Hospital Foundation, where her focus includes fundraising, philanthropy, and diversity and inclusion consulting.
